Major General Ken Perkins(Retired), UK
Graduate of Staff College Reminiscences
"Pakistan holds a sincere place in my memories. Course here gave me a tremendous boost earlier in my military career. When I came here in 1958, the syllabus was much the same as of Camberly. I have been an instructor at Camberly and I can see that there are many advantages in coming to Quetta. My sincere judgment is that lessons taught here were far more realistic. From where else could you imagine warfare followed by a train of mules carrying your lunch behind them. Later in my life during campaigns in Oman, I found that the lessons learnt at Quetta were very handy indeed".
