Doctor Abid Qaiyum Suleri educated the student officers on food, water and energy security of Pakistan. Lecture was delivered online. After giving an overview of the nexus of food, water and energy, he covered each issue separately in detail with particular emphasis on how climate change has impacted food, water and energy security. He also explained major water issues between India and Pakistan and their implications for the country. He deliberated on approach of various governments to address the challenges and highlighted major projects being undertaken in this regard. At the end he acquainted the audience with the way forward to overcome food, water and energy shortage. Talk was followed by an interactive Question and Answer session.
