Doctor Zulfiqar Ahmed Cheema visited Command and Staff College, Quetta to deliver a talk on teachings / philosophy of Dr Allama Muhammad Iqbal and its relationship with modern day leadership. He opened his talk by introducing Iqbal as an ideological founder of the State of Pakistan. He dilated upon Iqbal’s philosophical, religious and political thought while drawing pertinent relevance with modern day leadership practices. While talking about the concept of Khudi, he explained; how spiritual values, morality and selflessness affect the style of leadership and how a leader can instill these qualities in himself to inspire his followers and men under command. His talk was followed by an interactive session, in which, Student Officers asked several insightful questions, which were candidly responded to by the Guest Speaker.
