Lieutenant General Aamir Abbasi, HI(M) (Retired) educated the students on art of motivation and leadership. Lecture was delivered on campus. First, he spelled out the theoretical and conceptual aspects of motivation and leadership. Then, he discussed psychological aspects in personality grooming and attributes necessary for a good leader. Afterwards, he explained what motivates a soldier / body of troops besides offering guidelines for effective combat leadership. Subsequently, he mentioned motivation, esprit de corps and leadership challenges in the current and future environment. Towards the end, he offered guidelines for future leaders to meet leadership and motivation challenges. Talk was followed by an interactive Question and Answer session.
