Lieutenant General Khalid Rabbani, Hilal-i-Imtiaz (Military), (Retired) delivered an insightful talk on ‘Art of Motivation and Leadership’. To draw pertinent lessons, he took a discourse of his personal experiences wherein his Command and Leadership abilities were confronted with a vast range of challenges while undertaking national counter terrorism efforts. Based on the lessons learnt as a practitioner, he then highlighted the desirable attributes in a leader. He also gave certain guidelines for motivating under command troops and building positive perceptions in order to strengthen their resolve and will to fight. In the end, he suggested a useful course of action for future leaders to refine their leadership and management skills. Talk was followed by an interactive Questions and Answer session.
