Major General Muhammad Imtiaz Khan Hilal-i-Imtiaz (Military) educated student officers on the role and functions of Personnel Directorate. He briefly introduced the concepts of discipline, psychic energy and self-esteem and their significance in achieving success and career progression of officer cadre of Pakistan Army. He explained the organization of Personnel Directorate and various processes involved in disposal of disciplinary cases in formations and General Headquarters. He took a stock of discipline state and highlighted certain negative trends and violations of good order and discipline. He then deliberated upon the reasons of these violations / negative trends and certain measures being undertaken in the Army to improve discipline and curb such tendencies.
