Mr. Shaukat Tareen educated the student officers on Pakistan’s Economy with emphasis on challenges faced and opportunities available. He dilated upon the basic indicators of a stable national economy, contemporary economic models and role of monetary funds and donors. He described how economy becomes element of national power and impacts the security of a nation. He explained various impediments in the economic growth and shared his vision / planned measures in this regard. In the end, he highlighted economic potential and opportunities available to Pakistan and how these can be capitalized for economic progression of the country.
