Doctor Abdul Hafeez Sheikh delivered a talk to student officers on Economy of Pakistan. He dilated upon contemporary economic models of various countries with particular emphasis on the role of international financial institutions and donors. He explained significance of economy as an element of national power and its impact on the security of a nation. He elaborated various challenges and impediments in the economic growth of Pakistan and shared his opinion in this regard. In the end, he highlighted Pakistan’s economic potential, opportunities available and how these can be exploited for better economic progress of the country. Talk was followed by an interactive Question and Answer session.
