Mr. Moeed Wasim Yousuf educated the student officers on various strands of National Security of Pakistan. He commenced his talk by highlighting certain theoretical aspects of comprehensive national security and current standing of Pakistan with regards to these concepts. While establishing linkage of External Security with Internal environment, he deliberated upon certain measures including preserving our national identity, ensuring unity and stability, making public services responsive by improving e-Governance and addressing the loopholes in Criminal Justice System. He also dwelled upon various aspects concerning security of “Common Pakistani” which include reducing population growth, climate and Water Security, Energy Security while considering Education Security at the heart of the concept. In the end he suggested to create a whole of nation capacity against Hybrid Warfare especially in the domains of Info Warfare and Lawfare. His talk was followed by a very interactive Question and Answer session.
